You Left the Train without Mine – Napatsorn Treesap

Crying is not allowed
Sometimes I kept driving the bicycle
Chasing a high speed train with my raincoat on
I called his number at 5
Still figuring out if he’d picked up the phone
By the dawn I’m awaking
Daydreaming about his mellow morning
Bribing the feeling to forget forevermore
I took a picture of you in my head
In everywhere I go
In every corner of my room
Starry eyes, is that just the way you fake it?
Mine— is just a forceful word to speak?
Asking me to stay— just don’t walk away
But you’re the one who left the train
Is that another false sign?
4 years of sober— how did it end— Oh my
You healed others’ wounds
But how you created mine
A life saver who committed a crime
Shoot me in the heart with his promises— why?
A mellow bittersweet time, you treated me like a queen
My grandma asked if we still have something in between
My father still believes in our own fashion thing
No more— No more again
I drank silence in and digest to the bones
He left the train without mine
